Traffic Jam

Traffic Jam

A Poem by Anata

Stop!
Just listen
I'm trying to tell you something
Trying to make you understand

How does it feel
When one word enters
As another one leaves
Is it pleasant?

Absorbing my language
Like your mind was a sponge
Yet filled with holes
You forget as I speak

Maybe if I tried harder
Then you would see
The words I'm speaking
Like leaves falling before you eyes

One door opened
Yet another one closed
There's a traffic jam in your ear
Hello! Let me through, I'm drowning

How does it feel?
When one word gets through
The other sticks like your ears
Made of glue

When one word enters
As another one leaves
How does it feel?
Is it pleasant?
