Love in all its glory!

When we met

The very first time

Thought I would faint

Your eyes looking into mine

 

You promised me the world

And I thought you lied

But time passing by

Showed how much you abide

 

I love you for who you are

For who I am when I’m with you

Never knew this would happen

Never thought I’d make you feel blue

 

But faith had to make its move

Infected me so cruel

Your love kept me going

It served as my backup fuel

 

Incurable and sick

You stay by my side

You even love me so much

You asked me to be your bride

 

And together we stand

Showing off our illusory wealth

But we know the truth when we say:

‘In sickness and in health’
