Birth of a flower

Birth of a flower

A Poem by Anata
"

A flower is born ..

"

Lurking from behind

Green silky leaves

Shy as they are

Hiding, and waiting to reveal true beauty

As the first rays of sun

Touch their soft pale masquerade

It grows inside

Hiding, and waiting to reveal true beauty

The warmth of early spring

Has softened their heart

Slow but steady they start

Waiting to reveal true beauty

As a butterfly pops from it cocoon

They find their way out

Shaking off their pale looks

Waiting to reveal true beauty

Radiant colors

And tantalizing scents

No disguise nor shame

A flower is born

This is great, I do agree the font is a little funky my eyes went a bit skewiff. I really enjoyed this particularly

I like this - I am not vey good at describing why but it evokes a sense that, w/each moment beauty unfolds if only we have eyes to see it...

This poem creates such an intense yet delicate view of such a simple (though sometimes belittled) beauty. The flower. Silky leaves and tantalizing scents make for a pleasingly written verse.

Colorful, fun, and it's just pretty! The only thing I have to say is electric pink/purple is not a good font color.

Beautiful! The birth of true beauty, and this poem shows that beautifully.
I don't know about the color you choose though, it kinda distracted me from the actually words lol, maybe green would have worked better? But anyways, i loved it. = )
