Dream the Deam

Dream the Deam

A Poem by Anastiscia Chantler
"

Regret is in not trying. you have a million opportunities to give up, so why do it now?

"

DREAM THE DREAM

Whenever we become discouraged

Let us close our eyes

And remember a time when we were

Not afraid to dream

When we were young

When we were great believers

Hopeful dreamers, spirited thinkers

And great creators of marvelous adventures

We didn't think about it all too much

We just believed we could do anything

We could find a way to create our dreams

And secure a future.

I want to remind you that even though

We have hit heavy detours

We can still imagine, we can still improvise

And we can still create beautiful things

Out of whatever life hands us

As long as we never lose the trust in our hearts

And the love in our souls

That we had when we first started this journey.
