Fallen Angels and Demons

Fallen Angels and Demons

A Story by Anastasiya

I stared at the fallen angel and blinked. His wings were pure white. Like snow almost and his eyes were a clear, deep green. I fell for him because of those eyes. I followed him everywhere he asked. I didn't think I made a mistake. I didn't think it would be impossible for I had fallen as well. Or in my case risen.

My name is Ash, just Ash. No last name. I am supposed to be a demon of sixteen years. I was really good at it until I fell for that stupid, damn fallen angel! Falling for him completed my failure. Nobody else can see him with wings and while I had been disgused as a human I didn't notice him until I had been struck by him.

Following a shhh sound I recognized as a sword being drawn from its sheath the cold point of the blade pressed inbetween my shoulder blades. I instantly dropped the human disguise so we were both hidden from prying eyes.

"Demon! I demand to know why you are here!" the fallen angel called. I turned slowly with my hands raised, knowing I could get stabbed at any moment. The fallen angel's hair was down to his shoulders, blonde and soft as silk. He was wearing a black tee shirt with gray sleeves and blue jeans. I looked into those dark green eyes.

"Same as you, angel. I am stuck here for a little while until I finish my job. Which is to torture somebody. I get bonus points if it's an angel like you!" I grinned at him as I spoke. It was in my nature to be playful and to tease people so what I said came out. Totally not my fault.

"I ought to kill you now and send you back to the pits of the firy Hell!" He told me while putting the point of the blade to my throat. I glared at him.

"And you do not why?" I hated to be treated like a child more than anything else. I felt my tail flick with annoyance. Demon tails are senistive to feelings. Especially cat tails. Same with the ears.

"I can not until yhou have done something horrible to an innocent," he muttered. I smirked. These stupid angels and they're rules. We demons are allowed to do anything we want as long as it doesn't include God. We demons and angels have been aroumd for years. Every now and then there will be some stupid ones who fall in love and become fallen. I always called them stupid, but not anymore. This isn't fair!

"Oh you angels and your rules. You're just no fun!" I cried pushing the sword away. I made sure to prick the tip of my finger then stuck it in my mouth and sucked. Then slowly pulled it out and smirked. The angel blushed at my boldness.

"What is your name, demon?"

"Ashdialia. Call me Ash, though! And yours is?"

"Dariux Freeair. And your postion?"

"What's yours?" I hated that postion question. Being Lucifer's child was not fun! If anyone found out then I would be killed on the spot.

"First rank, captain of the Angelic Guard. Now answer me, demon known as Ash!"

"I do not have to. All you must know is that I have a higher rank, angel known as Dariux."

"That's impossible! The only rank higher is to be his daughter! Of course. . . You are his daughter!" My eyes widened. Oh no. Please, God, no. I didn't ask to be the Devil's daughter! I didn't want to be! Please, God, fix this!

"Dariux! That is enough, my son!" I jumped, scared. Who was that?!

"My Lord! Of course. Anything for you!" I watched as Dariux bowed before a bright light. I backed away, knowing the light could kill me. I also covered my eyes. Ow. . . It hurts.

"Come forth, Ashdialia!" I stepped forward, the light making blisters on my skin, and bowed.

"Yes?"

"You asked for help and I gave it. In return I must ask you to go threw a hardship. As well as you, Dariux. You must become fallen and overcome obstacles. If you both do well you can both become angels. Only one of you then that one will become an angel. Now be ready, Dariux, for becoming a fallen is painful. Are you both ready?" God asked us both. Dariux bowed low then spoke up.

"I am ready for anything, even if it means I have to work with a demon."

"Sure. Why not?" I bowed as Dariux shot me death glares. Suddenly pain overcame me as God's light hit me. I heard Dariux's scream as darkness overtook his senses. I felt a hand on my forehead that burnt my skin.

"Good luck, my daughter. You will suceed. Take care of Dariux for he will have to be lead. Go forth and be careful!"
