RainA Poem by Anastasia_Snow
The rain tumbled from the sky.
I trembled in my bed. Drip Drop Drip Drop Spilling from the big, dark clouds, It splattered on the roof. Drip Drop Drip Drop My mother came, knocked loudly. I only lay frozen. Knock Knock Knock Knock "Are you alright?" she questioned. My lips felt frozen shut. Knock Knock Knock Knock The rain's power over me Was what frightened me most. Drip Drop Drip Drop Fear can be a funny thing, But an awful one, too. Drip Drop Drip Drop And so, not knowing why, I Trembled when the rain came. © 2016 Anastasia_SnowReviews
