I did not die

I did not die

A Poem by Ananya

You are still asleep.
Same as the day
When they took me away from you.....

You did not wake up then
You are not waking up today
But I am back
I did not die.

Once more
I am touching the grass
It had rained at night
And water is shining on it
Like my tears.

Where can I go?
There is nowhere else but you.
My home.
My life.

I sat and called you
You did not come
You are still asleep
And I am still waiting

I did not die
Waiting remains
Sleepless nights
Dreamless eyes

I did not die
When I should have.

A chilling thought,
but a thing to be grateful for -
in all senses.

This is exactly what we call as hope... Yes, only strong and hopeful persons can make and have fair opinions. All that life gives you, may have some lessons and experiences for you... Quite sad poem but remember I told u once, "God gives pain cause he knows u can manage it."
Enjoy every bit of life!!!
Keep writing...

Ah, cruel separation and cruel destiny. Though we humans have progressed a lot yet there are things which we cannot control. Separation of this kind is painful and remains so throughout one's life. There are two ways, either to move on or to cherish the memories of the person and think that the person is always around us. The sadness has been expressed deeply, really deeply. Keep writing.
