Unearthing Life 8

Unearthing Life 8

A Poem by Anand Sehgal

A first-hand greed is still reasonable
because somehow there is a limit to that appetite.

An imposed greed is truly dangerous .
It is evil because the very nature of it
 can't be fathomed that easily,
neither can be controlled.

Greed, opaque and uncontrolled,
 finally consumes the greedy.
A sound of tracelessness reverberates .

This is a message, one speaking in favour of virtue- like how it's all said, like the biblical account that said that the wages of sin is death, greed leaves us no good rather its wages is the destruction which its origin canst be traced. Greed can become totally beyond our control, and forms a fog in our mind and conscience, and like a saying has it that life is an echoe, every of the consequencies will come haunting afore us. Good brother... Bona!

Thanks so very much Arshia :)
the last line sums it up perfectly....

tracelessness....and that idea of why did we want so much in the first place?
we did we need to consume and consume and consume?

well done.
