Myself Uncut (3)

Myself Uncut (3)

A Poem by Anand Sehgal

The world around me has changed a lot in last ten

years or so.

May be it is ever changing,

but  I could only see it in recent times.

A new world demands new plans that eventually

open up new avenues .

Thus the change in me started to show up,

as soon as I realized that I wanted to remain

relevant for some more time.

I have just read your "Myself Uncut" 1, 2, & 3. I would encourage you to consolidate such short related postings on this website (all on the same page). It's very time consuming to click & wait, click & wait, click & wait so many times to get your completed ideas here. Also I want to see it all together to assess the meaning collectively, but I'm not going back to click & wait many more times.

Now about the writing. I love your humility which is what makes these observations very easy to understand & ponder. Your ideas represent thought-provoking lessons, expressed with clarity & refreshing self-honesty.

As time doesnt stand still so does the tide of change. We wish for some moments, people and thing to last forever the way they are. Yet it is not possible. We realise it later and feel sad for it.
A very nice poem indeed…simple but strong with its diction.
Thanks for sharing.

thanks dear for the kind appreciation :)

My health really changed me from care giver to care taker. Mortality sinks in deeper when you know that illness will take you far away.

thanks for sharing your personal experiences. comments with personal touches mean a lot :)
Change it has a remaining avenue in all of us
and you know it, too
Life is always changing
with it--we do too--even if it is not wanted or sought out
Nice reflections on it.

YOU ARE WELCOME ALWAYS!
Change is healthy but we should sacrifice our values ever.
They are worth holding on to.

Thanks a lot Sophia for paying a visit :) how are you doing?
We all want to remain relevant to someone or something. The world changes constantly and we must chose which we will change with, those we will reject and still others that we will wait to see how they turn out. As the saying goes, "The only constant is change."
