Limited to My WorldA Poem by Anand Sehgal
During the innocent days of my infancy,
Whenever I went for an outing holding my dad's hand, We always remained on the southern side of the crowded four-way crossing , the side to which our house belonged. Curiosity in me piled up day by day , but not the courage as much as I needed to cross the boundary of the world well -known to me. My dreams too were limited to the parts I knew in detail, I had been to time and again. Even in my dreams , whenever I tried to cross the road, thick smog appeared out of nowhere to make the 'new world' opaque. Every time I returned from the edge, I remained safely within my domain , ruled my own comfort zone. © 2014 Anand SehgalFeatured Review
