Here is a write from you again that is so profound and such a poignant comment on pain. Yes, we must try to resolve those painful issues rather than avoid, deny or circumvent the problems... And like we believe..."This too shall pass..." and it will all end. Thank you for sharing the truth

yes, that is a favourite of mine too -- " this too shall pass"
There is a philosophy that in order to be at peace you should experience all things, including pain, completely and wholly---embracing them---and then let it go away from you. That's what this made me think of. Well done!

thanks so much Sarai :) getting used to is the key !
"Try and meet an end .
As the great teacher says-
The end defines it all."---I love this stanza, even by itself.
However, I hate pain and embracing it is not something I wish to do.
Healing is what I am interested in as I go through life, and dealing with pain in the most swift way possible.

Yes, it in life is does and I try to avoid it whenever possible. :)
YES!! so true, nothing to be afraid of, i learnt this also some time ago, when you embrace and feel the full impact of the pain, it transmutes into bliss. As always, love your philosophical poetic musings dear friend :)
Profound and thoroughly poetic in its precision as well as in its expressions. helps a lot to grasp the essence of pain, and live with it like a lifelong companion.
There is truth and wisdom to your words Anand. Embracing pain, overcoming pain results in a stronger person. If one has never felt pain, how can they truly appreciate the beauty of happiness. Wonderful poem my friend.
Pain is what I always do try to embrace. More often it a beautiful muse if you pour it down into words. On how you handle pain depends on you, yourself. There will always be two choices to go, either in to the darkness of grief or in the path to the light of acceptance. Pain is a great teacher, if you know how to understand it with your heart then you're in the way to healing. Surviving each pain makes you stronger, i know it. Very nice piece my friend...
