I lived my life in a fantasy world

Believed in a love that wasn't true

Then I stepped into reality

And was lucky enough to find you

When I dreamed of my magical lover

A shield of love clouded my eyes

I denied the unfaithfulness and deception

I just didn't see the lies

Like a knight in shining armor 

You came riding into my life

To save me from the heartache

And the many tears I've cried
