Imagine...A poem by a little girl at heart

Fluffy cotton candy clouds

Marbled a soft satin glow of pink

I want to live in my own little world 

Of fairy tales and make believe 

Swirling with diamond glitter

The sky, shades of baby blue 

On a bright, beautiful, perfect day 

I close my eyes And begin to float away

My eyelashes flutter

As I drift and begin to dream

Flying alongside butterflies and angels

My soul, finally free

This kind of reminds me of part of Seanan McGuire’s Wayward Children books. Definitely a poem that would fit well within that world.
This was beautiful and whimsical. Very visual and relaxing to imagine as you’re reading.
