Chapter 2

We arrived at the castle, in about two minutes. "Father, Emma has something to say." Diana informed, with that, she walked away to let us have some privacy. "What is it?" Ugh how am I suppose to say this!? I thought. "I think I may be your daugter..." When that was said, I could swear I saw a tear forming in his eye. He quickly blinked and said "Well then, let's test it." What did he mean by that? "Hold this jewel," I did as he said. My eyes started feeling watery...and a golden tear dropped. When it came out, it turned into a golden jewel. "You really are my daughter! I must tell the queen!" So I can cry golden tears while holding a jewel and make it turn into one? Sick!

Why did you have to come into my life and take away my life as a princess? WHY?!

I woke up panting heavily and heavily...whew, just a dream. I don't remember it though, all that someone had scarred my leg. Just to check, I looked at both of my legs...my right leg was bleeding. How weird. I went to my drawer and pulled a tissue. I wiped all the blood and went downstairs. I sat on the chair on the table. For some reason, Diana was looking cheerful. "Why are you so cheerful Diana?" I asked "Oh it's nothing" She said. I wonder what’s making her so cheerful. Then I decided to just forget about it and go over to my friend’s house, the most powerful magician’s daughter. While father and mother were sleeping, I walked out of the castle, and crossed the bridge over to my friend’s house. I knocked on the door, and she answered. “Oh hi Emma!” “Hey Isis, can I stay here?” “Sure”

I walked into her house, and as I was entering, I saw a shadow behind me, I ignored it figuring it was just my imagination…but it was much worse than that…

Isis decided we would go to the park. So we went outside, and walked to the park. While I was walking, I heard something slither behind me. So I walked faster. No use, the snake already caught me. What is worse is that there were two snakes and the other one caught Isis! We screamed hoping someone would hear us. Nope, no one was outside today. I lay back down, giving up. I closed my eyes, and waited…and waited. I opened my eyes expecting to see the snake preparing to eat me, but instead, there was a snake lying down dead. Two snakes actually… but Isis was lying down and her eyes were closed! “OH MY GOD ISIS WAKEUP!” I tried waking her up…but she would not wake up. I went to father and told him, he got the doctor to come to the castle, and we brought Isis for the doctor to examine… The doctor examined her, and finally he said, “She’s alright, but she might be in a coma for a little while.” Who would release a snake in the middle of a park anyway?! I thought. We took Isis to her family, and sadly walked back to the castle.
