Ocean World

Ocean World

A Poem by Amyrain

The shallow waves of the ocean world,
Rush over me with out a word.
I have drowned in a sea of sorrow,
Forever doomed to a dark tomorrow.
The waves once quiet,
With a welcome sound.
Are now unruly,
Howling all around.
The bitter hiss of the white capped waves,
Leaves me with sun hid days.
To dream again of the calm low tide,
And the sandy beach of the ocean side.
Oh, how I miss the ocean’s beautiful song,
And the knowing feeling that you belong.

I miss the salty ocean spray,
I miss my love in every way.
