StayA Poem by Riley Mistwood
Stay and wait through the rain
The cold chill entering my veins Longing for days of summer sun The days when you and I were one I sit here now my head bowed down, my eyes shut tight as I listen to the haunting night A black bird comes to perch beside my corpse which once was so alive and full of love and full of laughter has now slipped into the ever after the night retreating ever faster, faster, faster. © 2013 Riley MistwoodReviews
