Upon this mound of books I stand.

A Queen of the grandest land.

A crown of words adorns my head

and in my hand the mighty pen

The slayer of the bravest men

Inside my mind a key I hold

to unlock stories yet untold

Oh what wonders lay ahead

tucked away inside my head

My hands create a treasure map

to guide you to my soul and back

On my mound of books I stand

the Queen of my imagination land

It was all the motivation I needed to walk outside my demesne and see that you've moved into the neighborhood, just across the field of dreams, standing there on your "mound of books." I so adore that regal headpiece, the way it pulses with the wonder-light of thought. How could you guess that I would so gleefully spy that well-crafted treasure map in your hand and immediately wish to sign on as crewman on what is sure to be a fantastic voyage? You know me well, my Queen. Stand tall and proud at the helm with mighty pen in hand and direct this willing reader-crewman where thou wilt'st. The sails billow, filling with imagination and beckon us onward with the strength of this poem's color and well-crafted image.

This is simplistically beautiful. I liked it very much, nice vocabulary. There are some weird flow moments, if you know what I mean. I don't think that's a big problem though for such an elegant piece.:)
