DeafeningA Poem by John ProphetDeafening.
Eons past. Faceless millions charge. Fields of glory. Fields of horror. Fields of death. Warriors of old. Shields raised. Swords drawn. Following orders. Untold stories. Charging straight into hell. Lost in the mist of time. Careening headlong. Still to this day. To what end? © 2023 John Prophet |
