It is a
mirage.
Spun up
in a place
unknown.
Everything
seen an
illusion.
Ghosts,
vapors whiffing
in an out
of existence.
Ghosts
in the
machine.
Infinite
iterations running
simultaneously.
Universe one
of countless
churning to
and end,
an unknowable
end.
Universes
populated.
Populated by
unknowing.
Immersed in
something
beyond
understanding.
Beyond reach.
Vapors, moving
in and
out of illusions.
Forever.
Immortal
they be!
Being OCD & bipolar, I tend to grind alot in my aloneness. In recent months I've done spiritual practice to change my way of rambling in my brain to be more open & flowing with the moment, rather than grinding on something from the past. Your poem reminds me of a word illustration of how one might aspire to have a more flowing, in-the-moment experience of how brainwaves can be so fickle & strange. This is how meditation looks, most of the time, even tho people tend to glorify it as a restful state! I love this & I love that you are able to define the meanderings of the mind so well. As for smoking pot, I would be dead if not for legalized marijuana, now recreational being legal for the past two years. I would've surely killed myself, if not for this amazing drug that addresses so many of the issues that ail me, including fibromyalgia. I take no pain meds, only pot. And I'm so much more healthy than I was when I took pain pills! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Ok advice.....ease of the whacky backy!
Only kidding. This flowing piece made me think of life and the universe and creation itself. The origins of man. Where did we come from and where are we going?

Pharmaceuticals offered limited results and unpleasant side effects. Last year medical cannabis came available where I live. The only thing that ever took the pain away with little side effects (slight buzz) so it’s been a god send.
