Where Are You

Where Are You

A Poem by AmySabon
"

My last poem Forever and Always refers to an old relationship of mine, that has passed. I've since then moved on to a lovely boy named Cody. I wrote this after our 2nd break up.

"

I've never needed someone more

Me without you is an imperfect score

I love you with Everything

Everything I've Got

Got to get you Back

Back in the past is where I'll stay if you don't Return

Return to me Please

Please come back to me

I'm pointless without you

I'm worthless without you

I'm nothing without you

I can't move forward without you

I can't live without you

Everyone in the past, it was only lies

But my love for you, it never dies

But you're in my present

And I won't be hesitant

To take you back again

But until then

Where are you

I liked the poem but the third stanza beginning with "I'm pointless without you" is a troubling position to put yourself into. You need to be complete within youself. People, including lovers, are an adjunct to your being, your identity. "Been there" as is often said. You're a lovely lady and a fine poet. Ideally, you should not depend on others to make you complete or Vital. ~Nick
