Too Many Shadows

Too Many Shadows

A Poem by Amy..... "sing To Me A Spanish Lullaby, And I Will Get Lost In Your Eyes"
"

Look behind you....when you are feeling down, I'll be that shadow to help carry you through the night.

"

Night approaches
my room of
gloom

Shall I open one
eye to see what
is on the wall?

Standing alone
I must decide
what to do

Scary shadow
on my wall
please go

Wait... maybe
not...maybe
stay a while

Show me your
spirit of the
night

I will be your
friend because
after all....

We can never
Have…

Too many shadows.

interesting way to look at it. I am often frightened by the shadows rather than comforted by them. Nicely done.

This is kind of eerie, but in a good way. We all have shadows, inside and out. As for whether we can never had too many shadows, I'll have to think about that one!

That was a well thought out concept potrayed in a excellent way, of course. I loved how one can find company in mere shadows when no one;s around. You;ve given a very vivid, descriptive and realistic account of someone as such.
The flow was smooth, very smooth in fact. The word choice was great....
I really enjpyed it!!
WELL WRITTEN!!! GREAT JOB!!!
