Identity

Identity

A Poem by Amy..... "sing To Me A Spanish Lullaby, And I Will Get Lost In Your Eyes"
"

-Find myself....help me...-

"

Beautiful sand unites

with the gentle

wind

-Why do I cry?-

Tear drops rolling

down my face into

the sea

-Can you hear me?-

Eternal screams calling

my name I no longer

recognize

-Why am I here?-

Suffocating words

leave me gasping

for air

-Help Me!-

Walk with me by

the sea so I can

find myself

-Identity-

     me

-Who am I?-

Author's Note

Amy..... "sing To Me A Spanish Lullaby, And I Will Get Lost In Your Eyes"
Ever been 'lost at sea' so to speak? Finding "who" you are is a journey. People should "smile" more.

Oh I so like this... tho' sad, it's quite, quite beautiful.

Walking by the sea, sitting, standing by the sea, is the most wonderful of experiences: the silver light created by the sun's rays on the undulating water's surface, the ebb and flow - ebb and flow, the sound, the scent... it's the place to be when things aren't right in life.

Your dark/light font format really has accentuated what you see, what you feel compared or accompanied by your thoughts and unspoken questions.

Thank you so much for sharing.

there is an ethereal quality to this one....poignant translucent writing. Well done.

I like this as we all should spend time soul searching asking who we are. I liked the seeming plea for help from your own self to find an understand for yourself and the role you are to take place in, in the grand scheme of life. I think you will enjoy my newest piece it is about me asking myself who I am. Check it out if you get a chance

I am
Great Job!!!!!!!

Do we ever really know ourselves, much less anyone else? That's part of the journey. Good job

Emotional.
I felt this one..
and I love it when I feel a poem!
Not everyone can bring that
forth in the reader...

but you have! And quite well..

Who am I?
We are who we think we are...
and we are eachother.

So, we should choose our thoughts..
and our actions..
carefully.

Very well done my friend!

Nicely done...it is a lonely place when we question who we are.

A classic story line put forth in a creative and imaginative format

You can hear the message as you read each word and line

Do we really have to "tell all" for one to be a friend? I am not like most of the writers here at the cafe. I have not been writing for very long and actually started only a short time ago after my .. more..
