Grow Old With Me

Grow Old With Me

A Poem by Amy..... "sing To Me A Spanish Lullaby, And I Will Get Lost In Your Eyes"
"

Some journey's begin when we are not expecting them....when they do... you better jump on board or you will "miss' the train.

"

-Come take my hand -

as we walk into

the sun

-Be my eyes-

as we see the world

together

-Our journey-

begins in our

hearts

-Time-

is on our side so

listen

-Hear-

my love with no words

spoken

-Beautiful friend-

you complete

my soul

-Eternity-

we shall be one tree,

two branches

-Grow Old With Me-

   To Madre & Padre Chiorazzi

I love the title. This reminds me of a Greek myth where the gods visited a valley and were treated rudely by all the people there, except for an old couple who welcomed them and gave them all that they had. (Think the angels of the Lord visiting Sodom and Gomorrah) Anyway, the old couple were rewarded for their kindness and turned into two trees that intertwined their branches. Beautiful.
