Jim

My love of Savannah has prompted my heart to write about Jim Williams the way I see him. I think Jim's accomplishments were not recognized for his restoration of Savannah's Historic District and surrounding areas the way it should have been.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dark eyes gazing

upon a square

of beauty-

 

Beautiful hands

crafting art and

wood to see-

 

Velvet words he 

speaks for my

ears to hear-

 

Overlooked, for

restored beauty

in the city-

 

To anger him,

would result

in bad magic-

 

Love him, and

the world would

be yours-

 

Listen to his

soul speak in

the wind-

 

Feel him as

you walk past

his heart-

Author's Note

I love Savannah and her beauty. Savannah's Historic restoration credits, in my opinion was not given to the man the way it should have been. I hate the fact that people bring out the "bad" things over the "good" in one's soul. I see your beauty Jim every time I'm there. Thank you.
