Sometimes we tell a lie through our actions and not words.....

 

 

Sounds blasting

Close my ears

-Lies-

 

Sunrise turns dark

Rainbows run away

-Lies-

 

Eternity if I faith

I can not see

-Lies-

 

Promises in the dark

Heart beats run away

-Lies-

 

Birds fly away

Cold air blows

-Lies-

 

Kisses of death

Upon my lips

Life is a joke

I do not laugh

Author's Note

The photo is a birdhouse my daughter made out of clay. I thought it was really creative since the "bird house" is in the shape of a "cat." This picture was perrrrfffeeecctt for this poem.
