Excel To Death

Excel To Death

A Poem by Amy..... "sing To Me A Spanish Lullaby, And I Will Get Lost In Your Eyes"
"

" When you loose a soul mate..... a best friend..... a mom.'

"

I laid down where your soul died today
I looked around and found no one
Hurry for the blood is getting closer

Each breath becomes harder to excel
Eternity has stolen my last will
For your love I will have no more

Can you not hear me screaming
Why can you not be my friend
Please give your soul back

The bells ring though I fear them
The darkness I see not the light
The clock has stopped at no time

The heart has gave the last beat
The passion gave way to darkness
Death joined two souls forever

The sting of death and loss rings loudly here. You have one emotional pen, my dear. Superb!

a haunting, lonely poem - it put a lump in my throat and an ache in my heart.
