Counting Down the Future

The poem is about where the future could possibly lead you.

In several decades, I will be dead, 

In several years, I might be a parent,

In a few months, I might realize something I never have before, 

In a few weeks, I might feel unbelievable sadness, 

One day, I won't be alone, 

Someday, I will be free and well known, 

Any day now, I will find my happiness, 

In an hour, maybe my life will change forever, 

Any second now, I might feel hopeless, 

Right now, I'm me and I can't change that.
