To Fit a Fat Woman In a Pit

To Fit a Fat Woman In a Pit

A Poem by Amy_writes
"

This poem is all about the things women had to go through in order to fit the narrow minds(pits) of people in the ancient minds.

"

To fit a fat woman in a pit,
A group of ten were called
They pulled and pushed all day
And when they failed, few more were called.

To fit a fat woman in a pit,
Tried a hundred men, all well fed.
A rope was tied and a stone involved.
When they failed, they starved her of bread.

To fit a fat woman in a pit,
Tailors and designers were called
To fit that woman in the pit
A corset was forcefully installed.

To fit a fat woman in a pit,
Surgeons from the globe were brought
Her ribs were cut and threw apart
But no answer was ever sought.

To fit a fat woman in a pit,
Was called a vet who dealt with worms,
What a bad idea it was
For he put in her tapeworms.

To fit a fat woman in a pit,
A thinner one was called.
She flaunted her hobble skirt and all
But the men " too tired " gave up, looking appalled.

To fit a fat woman in a pit,
Made a fat woman gore
A passerby had done it once
By digging the pit some more.

Author's Note

Amy_writes
This is one of the first poems I'm writing. I would like honest reviews so that I can correct my mistakes and make sure I'm writing well from now on. So, to anybody writing I review, I request you to not be diplomatic. I won't take it negatively😊
But of course, Fat-phobia or any other such comments will not be tolerated.
