Impermanence

Impermanence

A Poem by Amy

Set in a scene so beautiful and serene. A rippled reflection cast of the old tilted dock. Bountyful reeds and cattails line this small crystal lake, awed with curiousity. The sunsets are beautiful here. Not like any other seen before. Brown broken down cabin sits high above, alone. Fire burning below. Friends gather, traveled from afar. Pink with yellow outline, brilliant blues. Fisherman trolls. The humm of the distant motor, melodious. The night begins to rise, water still as glass. A phenomena witnessed night after night. This old lake, that old dock, an eventual evanescence.

This paints a very vivid picture. I like how you used colors a lot...it reminded me of music as this is what I see while listening to it.

Wish these nights/times didn't end. Sucks that they do, but you just have to make more times like these!! :D

Great write.
