Your nearness

Your nearness

A Poem by Amrita Sharma Pokharel

Everything in this world
gave me

Your Flashback
And made me
nearer to that heart

As nearer as,
the air
which gently touches
the fur of birds...

The rain
which falls from
far above the sky and mix up this soil...

The tears
which stay in divine innocent eyes
and falls
whenever you touch this heart...

The naive smile of child
who have bundle of happiness...

The Mountain
which touches the sky and feel its nearness...

The star
which never head off from the moon...

The flower
with its fragrance...

The soul with man,

In the same unchanged way
I want your nearness...

-Ams

Intimate caresses of profound images, this really beckons for a closeness, a deep desire to balance the bigger picture or put the drop of water back in the ocean.. how vast and insurmountable is the affection!

About
I am neither Emily Dickinson nor am unnoticed ripples of emotions.. I am in search of light within in me ..... gone through many tunnels....to behold the lights at end but ...found the emptiness..... more..
