My Voice Rings

My Voice Rings

A Poem by Jesse Ampe
"

This is a song I wrote for a friend of mine. It's about how it may be thereputic to sing and write a song about how you feel when you are struggling

"

Verse 1:

Sit down beside me

Let me buy you cup of coffee

And tell me what's on your mind

I'm here for you

Just tell me what's going on

And maybe I can lend a helping hand

Verse 2:

And if you've got any music skills in you

You can help me finish this song

But if not, you can sing alone towards the end

Chorus:

And I've got the rhythm, you've got the rhyme

What you do for me is enough to make my voice ring

But please, don't break my heart until I'm done singing

Verse 3:

Whatever it is i hope it's not upsetting you

But, the best advice i can give you is to sing your heart out

At the top of your lungs

But if not, when I'm done you can sing alone towards the end

When you are in perfect pitch and harmony

My heart skips a beat

But never when I sing because, I've never missed a beat before

Chorus:

Because, I've got the rhythm, you've got the rhyme

What you do for me is enough to make my voice ring

But please, don't break my heart until I'm done singing
