Small-Time Town

Small-Time Town

A Poem by Jesse Ampe
"

This is a song about what life is like in my town....

"

Verse 1:

Another week of repeats. It always stays the same

We've got the mall, we've got the theater both so equally lame

Another party come and gone all cuz the cops shut us down

O this towns got me feelin so down

So I'll swing by your place and we can just sing

Chorus:

Sing the night away in this uptight small-time town

Where no one gets to do anything exciting or relatively fun

We go to work, we go to school ain't got nothin else to do

So we Sing, Sing the nights away and hope that next week will be okay

Verse 2:

Another week of repeats. It always stays the same

We've got that coffee stop, that music shop right across the way

In perfect harmony

O this town........

So I'll swing by your place and we can just sing

Chorus:

Sing the night away in this uptight small-time town

Where no one gets to do anything exciting or relatively fun

We got to work, we go to school ain't got nothin else to do

So we sing, sing the nights away and hope that next week will be okay

*Castle Rock is boring so I was bored and wrote a song about it haha :D*
