God Bless America

God Bless America

God Bless America

World can say, whatever they think

or want, we are born free and ruled

them all, a land blessed by the Lord

our motto is simple, in God we trust

We welcome all religions, respect them

believe in equality, humanity we care

provide asylum to those who need

a land chosen by God, to make him proud

Our men and women in uniforms are

the bravest from all, we don't forget

enemy we find, even we have to invade

a foreign country, we hunt them down

Donations, aids and charities we provide

still those countries treat us like ungrateful wives

we stand with weak, fight most evil enemies

which are barbarians, untamed beasts and freaks

Lord be with our leaders, give wisdom to all

let all of us be united, like one strong family

we are proud to be Americans, because

in freedom we believe, God bless America

Till there is sun, moon and stars, I pray to God

my flag stay on top, until the end of time let USA

be blessed with Prosperity, one strong united nation

the leader of the world, hear my little prayer my Lord!

I like that this view is positive. So many people complain about how terrible it is. I am always like, yes no one is perfect and the past was unfair and unkind, but we are moving in the right direction. And look at the rest of the world. There's so much disease, famine, genocide, infanticide, war and poverty! I tell people that we are spoiled. They have no idea what harsh conditions are ad are lucky to not have bombs blowing up innocent homes and kids. Thanks for writing.

I don't celebrate any holidays at all, not even my birthday but this poem is well written and noble. I greatly respect the content A and my biggest points are for your gift of expression.

Well I can honestly say this poem does leave the reader with a sense of pride and patriotism coming from America. At the same time it also seems to be able to spark controversy with in ones self as far as politics go. That being said that is what a poem should do, spark feeling, and get the people thinking. Regardless of whether or not they agree with the political stances made in this poem, it will certainly do its job in getting people to think and open the floor for discussion. I also think it is a good thing to show pride towards your country even when they are not always right in regards to conflicts. Good
