Birds eye view

Birds eye view

A Poem by Alex Morse
"

War amongst each one of us

"
The sun shines bright above the heavens
Down below, the drums beat heavy like the heart.
Man has taken against his own brother, Cain style.
Years of history has taught humans nothing
War is below upon them, those two sides.
Above, thy Tullans clutch together for the sin of man and it’s blindness
For there is no more peace

Down there, is a hole filled with ants.
Amongst those holes lies hell, for it waits for them at night.
Preaching of equality, love and peace is no longer in the tradition.
For the love they share is the blood that they seek to flow within the streets.
I shed, for hope of mankind is for death
As they die, not in peace, the screams will follow the
Trailing them deep into those holes of missery
Only to meet there commander
The commander of hell, where punishment is the only thing he knows.
