Whatsoever did I seek ?

Whatsoever did I seek ?

A Poem by Arielle Ann
"

Another peep into a woman's mind :) this will be confusing I know because my thoughts were confused too when i wrote this...a free flow again :)

"

Let her soar free of that love unbound

Let her fly past chains of limits that cloud.

Once confined and restrained

She will decay in slow disdain.

She for sure marvels at the touch of that cord

How it would tauten stifling out her words

She sure wonders at the feel of the blaze

How it would prickle while licking at her flesh

She sure questions the power of that fluid

Of how it would drown her away her guilt

So let her soar free of that love unbound

So let her fly past chains of limits that cloud.

She may scorn and mock in verses

Vent her anguish out as curses

But slowly hush and submission untrue

Growing merely into a shadow of you

She will stare through those empty eyes

Lost in midst of dreams unwise

Evil thoughts will plague her psyche

While you are blind of those nights

So let her soar free of that love unbound

So let her fly past chains of limits that cloud.

She seems selfish you sense so

Maybe it’s true she does know

Born nor to commit neither to serve

Even though lovingly you dictate her terms

You fell in love with her eccentric eyes

Her lust for freedom and strange insight

You pretended to know her as she was

But now you insist otherwise.

So please let her soar free of that love unbound

So please let her fly past chains of limits that cloud.

Else the fire in those lively eyes

Will flicker and fade a nascent white

And you shall wonder where you went un-right

As you weep at her slow demise.

What a piece...what an amazing amazing piece....fantastic!!!!
We fall in love with the lust for freedom and end up murdering the one thing we love the most...so true!!!

Self introspection...it just boggles the mind (female that is) why we doubt and misjudge ourselves sooo often. You have brought out just how confused we can become when all our emotions are mixed...that one ribbon of reason being hidden behind all the gibberish inside those long hallways we travel. That ribbon is the only lifeline to the outside and understanding...buy why does it have so many knots to trip us up?? Very nice and emotional piece :)

This is very powerful... it feel like someone who is struggling with self worth and self esteem... that is something we all encounter many times in our lives.

I like this marvelous piece of writing. Its unique, as your style. And indeed a thought of a womans mind.... I feel no need to repeat your sentences, because they are gleaming already, every one of it! well well done!

"So let her soar free of that love unbound
So let her fly past chains of limits that cloud."
So many lines stood out in this poem. I had to read many times for pleasure. Sometime when we seek things we can be surprise by the new path and the end. Thank you for the excellent poem.
