ParanoiaA Poem by Arielle AnnHere I tried to picture the mind of a paranoid person.Suspicion and fear arises from implanted memories that haunt forever. This is just my comprehension.Bugs in my skull Swarm and crowd Buzz and hum Drone and
drawl! Worms in my
brain Slither and skulk Creep and
crawl Lurk and
prowl! I drag one
out Another sneaks
in I squash one
dead Another lurks in! I tug at my
hair My head it
aches Memoirs that
haunt Refuse to
leave. And cling
like magnets To the grooves of my grey Though hard
I try They trouble
and irk They haunt and
scare And I scream
in fear! © 2012 Arielle AnnReviews
