My blood I taste...

My blood I taste...

A Poem by Arielle Ann
"

One that I composed when by mistake I bit my lip...h aha...hope you enjoy it!

"
I bite my lip
The blood gushes out
I lick it clean
Sucking in the stench
Warm and red
It trickles and seeps
Damping my clothes
Drenching my neck!
I had longed for long
To suck up the blood
Of a foe long lost
But now I grasp
While my own blood I taste
The foul stink it emits
I vomit,I faint

Should I be able
To drink his blood?
The blood of filth
So much Fouler than mine?

A very interesting poem. Blood is feared and is the most needed part of our bodies. We digest animal blood without thoughts. You questions is a good one. Thank you for the excellent poem.

I'm imagining a vampire who's picky and sensitive when it comes to blood. :)) Well, anyway, it's really great how biting your lip mistakenly has led to a wonderful poem. This was really great and fun to read. Good job. :)

Great ! It reminds me a bit of a poem by Silvia Plath, who cut her finger and then wrote a poem about it. ( Can`t recall the title) Anyway - I like poems born of the moment.Well done.

I love your rhythm, and the fact that you can turn anything into poetry.
You are very talented.
