The Story of a Leaf!

The Story of a Leaf!

A Poem by Arielle Ann

Blissfully was I swaying, content in my own little world of dreams

Whispering my tune of departure to travelers who cared to hear

With that fragrance of vibrant autumn and the magnificence of my hues

I rendered my aroma of joy till that last daytime of my demise

For you I might have been that smeared drop of scarlet blood

For me I was that painters brush splashing across coarse canvas

While dainty blossoms wondered and pondered about my identity

I uttered my last goodbye while blending with the pebbles beneath!

This one inspired me to write! Autumn leads to winter... a period of time when hopes reincarnate, and false vibes see their demises! Cheers love

I love autumn, my favorite season, what a wonderful ode to this time of year, but what I really like about it is a mysterious metaphoric thought lies between the lines.
