Hushed

Hushed

A Poem by Angel Alli

I did it again.

I spoke.

I shouldn't speak.

Should have learned the last time.

They roll their eyes when I speak.

They don't like it.

I speak without realizing it.

I see them getting bored.

I didn't speak today.

No one complained.

It kind of felt nice.

I'll keep my mouth closed.

No one cares anyway.

Why would they?

They are looking at me.

I should say something.

I better not.

I don't have anything useful either way.
