MartyredA Poem by Angel AlliDedicated and in memory of all martyrs. The caged bird sings. But I never did. I never realized how lucky I was. My brothers and sister are dying far away. And I can’t even be bothered to pray. I’ve forgotten my freedom. Overlooked it time and time again. I was never persecuted for believing in Him. My brothers and sisters are martyred today. Would I be able to do the same? © 2015 Angel AlliReviews
