Blue Eyes

Blue Eyes

A Poem by Angel Alli
"

In memory of a good soul.

"

I saw him there

joking,

laughing,

smiling.

Knowledge spewed forth,

an overflowing fountain.

Care and compassion,

always accompanying

The blue in his eyes

sparkling,

shining,

inspiring.

But beneath the surface

longing,

suffering,

hurting.

Cries in the dark,

they stayed hidden.

Sorrow and burdens

Always tormenting.

The blue in his eyes

fading,

vanishing,

dying.

Angel, I hope this poem is fictional and not something, you have experienced, with a friend. I have been at this spot, myself, but never succeed, in the act. The last stanza describes, the suffering, one endures, with a suicidal depression, which I know, from my own personal experience. Thank you, for sharing this descriptive and emotional poem, with us.

Am so sorry, Angel. Wish there was more that I could do, to help you heal.
It's beautiful Alli, very deep, specially the second verse. It conveys deep sentiments.
Thank you for sharing...:)
