Love in a SongA Poem by AmongSavagesMakin my way downtown' Click. 'It's a quarter after one I'm all--' Static. 'Won't you stay with me..' Thoughts. Well he is all I need. But it is love It's clear to see. But for some reason He won't Stay with me. Keep thinking, girl. The Northern Downpour girl. Yelling at the moon. Begging it to forget To fall. Because if it falls, He falls. Because he's her moon. And she's his sun. And if she sets If she burns out What light through yonder window Will break through the dark side of his moon? I have to be the light. I need to be the sun. Whether or not he blinks back To let me know That he's my moon, Waiting for us to be golden after all.
