The clock says

It says Go

I say enough

Go to where

I say please shut up
It says Up and Go
I say let me rest

I say now what
It says go go
I sigh
And Up and took a step
The place burst to flames
And down in grey wax
Shocked I looked on
The place wax and butter
With no one hither thither
I patted my pants
And heard tick tock
I checked at the clock
It wasn't there
I checked again
It came from my body
I checked again
It was near the heart
I hugged myself
Thanking tick tock
And the pulse beat
Up I looked grateful
And I went
