UntouchedA Poem by Shweta
I leave it untouched;
The forbearance with which lived, cunning personalities later realised I leave it there untouched, without attended. Smart, charming, assuring and sometimes seeking assurance When gave it all, knowing nothing of its cost Countryside fondness blinded; the tenderness ever so still Find it unbelievable when outsmarted and overrun Kind they may seem, sometimes taunting and derisive; not once the love changed ever so, but needs now reflection. I prefer it stay untouched, that's the worth they derive. Be ever so indifferent and unattended to Feelings, emotions stays the same People may vary place to place With all love and tenderness so held, now lost its meaning And has to be kept untouched so.. © 2017 Shweta |
