Forever I am the problem

Nothing is ever done right

A life I have not requested

Bestowed upon me

Taken because I must

Taken because it’s what’s done

I am here where I don’t want to be

Bound by the chains of societal thoughts

But Awakened I am

And Awake I will be

I am allowed to feel

To have desires

It bubbles in me

Brewing in me and I knew not of this concoction

Now I know myself, what I want, what i like

Ooh now I know what I really like

Yes, my family is home

And work must done

But Awakened I am

And Awake I will be

Rekindled with the joy once in my youth

I shall explore my passions

Neglect the life forced upon me

You nor society decide my responsibilities

Awakened I am

I am independent no need for your domestics

No need for his love, he knows what I need

I know what I need,

No male control, just my satisfaction

No male holds power over me

Awakened I am

Is it a crime for me to embrace

To be someone who KNOWS what they want

It’s a new time

A new age

No cage

No control

Awakened I am

So let me go and let me live

Accept me as who I am and not a sleeper

Not a Dreamer but a Liver

Live this life with you I will

But not behind your steel persona or behind your protected wrongdoings

But with my eyes wide open and myself in view
