Expired LoveA Poem by Ammy GreavesLed you on, to let you down Gave you smiles to let you frown The heart retires when the heart expires I love you, they said I'll never leave you they pledged Yet, never found its end With all the love they sent The expired love left on the table Is what the heart feeling unstable Is what brought you to the sleepless nights The tears, lost of appetite Feeling of loneliness after the many times spent together Days full of sunshine now a sudden change of weather The felling of where you can no longer go on, Your reason for living is gone They're no words to describe the way you feel It is almost, almost unreal Why me what did I do Why should this pain my heart go through All because i took a risk Gave my organ, to now go through this Apologize To your eyes For the cries Stomach, the butterflies Mind, all the thoughts of them Life, for the miss-spent weekends Picture frame memories still in your head With all the loving things said Memories still in your thoughts Taking up spaces where their words bought Bursting with emotions, showing only one expression Sadness, loneliness simply- depression Your tired, but you still have so much to go through Until you can find one that makes your heart bloom They will always have a piece of your heart That very piece you gave them from the start Heartfelt memories still there The "I love you" still ringing in your ear There is still but one frame left to be filled With that memory where every loving heartfelt thing' was... That moment when your heart was lost. Done by: Amesha Greaves 1/12/12
