Do Not Tell

Do Not Tell

A Poem by Ammietia
"

Secrets are never safe outside your own mouth.

"

If you tell someone a secret,

they'll no doubt tell

to someone they know

with the same hushed tone,

"Do not tell"

And if that person

has many a friend

they'll tell it once again

with less care,

"Do not tell"

And they will all tell

those that they know,

and never again whisper

in a soft hushed tone,

"Do not tell"

A simple poem that states a fact. Though such a plot may be written more playfully.
thank you!
