You V Time

You V Time

A Poem by The Flawed

Life is like jazz, you’ve got to get it to enjoy it

Love is like pain, you’ve got to learn to endure it

You are just like me, too proud to say you’re wrong

But with time I’ve learnt to enjoy the jazz and endure the pain and know when I was wrong.

Time is a worthy adversary, that challenges your soul,

It questions all your being, all your thoughts and all your goals,

But if your life is pure and your love is real and your sun is warm and your moon is bright and your clouds are wet and your cheeks are dry and your conscience, is clear,

Then time has nothing on you,

And you are the victor for real

oh i like it.

It questions all your being, all your thoughts and all your goals,
for some reason thats my favorite part. this is a good piece. i like how you are ok with admitting you are wrong. that's always a good quality in a person.

and the title is a good one. i scan through the titles of my submission and generally go for the ones with appealing titles. =] nice choice.
