"Big Tree"

"Big Tree"

A Poem by #3

Click Clack

Big Lonely Tree Stretches It's Long Scary Arms

Sorrow Gods Time Borrowed

Dirty Muddy Lake of Tears

Where Kids Under Twelve Fear

Is It a Ghost or Shadow

Fog Hides Reality Forever Though

Some Sit & Wonder

The Thunder Leans Big Trees Shoulder

Big Tree Is Never Scary

He's Always Been Special To Me

Some Picnic Next To Him

Some Run & Flee

My Haunted Partner Carved in His Chest

Big Tree & Me

To End It All Off

I Will Take One Knee

Some Rich Guy is Trying To Build Over Big Tree

Never Will I Allow That

He Was Built By Me

Unclear, Confused on What's Next

He'll Die By Me

Just Like Fall Leaves Left Him I Will Never Forget HIm

Bestfriends Forever We Promised Me & Big Tree !

This felt very native american. I love trees. I loved the relationship this poem had to trees. I love their long arms, and feel sad that children think they are scarey, I never did when I was a child, but I know some do. Thanks. A lovely poem.
