Summer

Summer

A Poem by Mina Salva

Here you came again, building a new start
Sun's warmth folded into me, the wind slightly blowing, isn't it a beautiful art?
Trees' leaves dancing, the sound of their moves are filling my chest with inspiration
I'm lost in the middle of this beauty, wind please, come and lead me to your direction
One and only direction, a path of delight and satisfaction

I'm falling asleep by these songs of the tiny little birds
A wonderful melody they're creating, my heart and my soul taking
The sand as golden as my ring, the water as clear as the air
"Put a smile on, clear off your lunges." He says
"I had tsunami tides in my eyes, I can't just let go." I say
Hold my hand tight, never leave, you're mine and this is our love
Take a second before you fall, lift your head up and look above
This is life, but let us spend the summer together
Let's have fun, let's not care
Throw everything away, from today you're free
Let it be
